Noting meditation with your fingers
Effective, easy, and contributes your data to science
You are a sequence of sensations
It's like learning to type on a keyboard with 6 keys. After getting muscle memory it's effortless.
Noting is a type of Vipassana meditation to better recognize a sensation by giving it a label. Traditionally labeling is thinking a word -- but you can also label with your hands (like sign-language) or by pressing buttons.
This is first-of-its-kind data that populates the Buddhist 5-Aggregate Model of Mind, which basically says all experience is a stream of sensory consciousness moments.
All data is anonymous and posted to Github under the MIT license. With enough data we may be able to map stages of insight, predict sensations, and more.
